Are you in The Top 1% !!!!! – Did you get the notification ?
Linked In has been sending out notifications to its users this week congratulating them for being in their top 1%, 5% and 10%
When asked what value being in the upper crust confers on its users, a LinkedIn rep replied that “The practical upside to being the top 1% or 5% is that we believe the more engaged you are on LinkedIn, the better you will be in the job that you currently have, and the better connected when you are seeking a new job.”
Better not to worry too much about this if you are in the lowly 90% of users – as being in the 1% means you are 1 of 2 million ppl on Linked in with this ranking!!
Really what counts is that you are connecting with good contacts – people who are relevant to your career and industry, not that you have over 500 connections.
There are ways to use Linked In to be effective in networking and connecting with relevant people, as well as using business pages to make targeted connections with clients and customers. We are happy to discuss these with you anytime and work together to integrate Linked In into your AWESOME* Social Media and Customer Experience Marketing Strategy.
